Hey Everyone

I was looking at my blogger dashboard and realized that this post is my 100th post!!!
It has taken a while due to my 7 month absence but finally i'm in triple figures!!!

My favourite part of the whole blogging experience is the comments from everyone!!!!!!
It is grrrrrrrrrrreat to meet dogs from all around the globe!!!

I had a pretty relaxing day today hung around the gardens while the humans went off to their various places. Hopefully I will get a walk later on!!!

GUESS WHAT

I'M FINALLY BACK!!!!!!!!!!

How has everyone been, lately I have been so busy and just not had time to blog.
I am very sorry but have decided as my goal from February 2010 is to try and blog as much as possible!!!!!!!!!!

I have been up to lots of adventures lately, I have been on lots of walks, I especially like walking across the Western Australia foreshore which is grrrrrreat fun!!! also the humans grandmother has come over from their home country, Wales and is staying at our house for FOUR WHOLE WEEKS how exciting is That!!!!!!!! (One of the many reasons I have been busy) Also Happy New Year, Merry Christmas and happy birthday to all of you who have had one in the time I have been absent!

How are all your blogs going it's good to see you have all stuck by me as followers even when I have been busy I will promise to try and get round to everyone's blog!

Anyway please try get round to seeing this post and pleassssssseeeeee comment and give me updates and what I've missed so I can get straight back into the wonderful world of dog blogs and everyone else who has a different type of blog

I know I don't post on Travis: A Dog Like No Other as often as I should but Travis asked me to write up the Blog Review Monday post for you today.
Paco and Milo were the reviewees and thanks a lot to Maggie and Mitch for their awesome review which is featured below!
And just to let you know, Travis has decided that the next blog to review if my own - The (W)riting Room. I hope you will all pop by and have a look and post some good reviews about it. That would be greatly appreciated.
So read on to see what Maggie and Mitch had to say about Paco and Milo...

This week Travis asked us to review Paco and Milo's blog!
If you've never met them they are gorgeous Golden Retrievers that live in Italy!They are always winning contests because their hoomans take the most beautiful photos of them!
They love swimming and they love running and they love playing with their mom and dad!
They truly love life!

They even get the best part of the pizza - the cheese and the good stuff! And all we ever get is the crust!
They have the best adventures!

They are the sweetest most loving dogs and they always write the nicest comments on everyone's blog!
If you've never met Paco and Milo, do yourself a favor and head on over! We promise you won't leave their blog without a smile!

And while I'm here, I may as well make this post super awesome so I just thought I'd mention that we all sat down and watched Marley and Me the other night. Travis too.
It's a good film, quite funny until the end when poor old Marley dies. After reading the book and seeing the film it isn't hard to see that Marley was such a great dog, naughty but lovable.
He reminded me a bit of Travis, always running off and failing puppy school. If you haven't seen it, you definitely should but make sure you take tissues with you :)

I'm Back-A Post From Max

Hi Everyone
It's Max here I have come back after my few days down south.
I had a great time and I would like to say thank-you to my co-authors whose posts where very good. I would also like to thank everyone who commented and read my sisters posts.
Travis did not come down south because he is to big for the very small car that we used to go down there,we visited Canal Rocks,Castle Rocks,Sugar loaf Rocks and a lot of bays like Hamlin and Geographe we also visited rivers like Margaret River,Blackwood river and Augusta.
We saw lots of pelicans,possums,kangaroos,stingrays,dolphins and I attempted fishing but came home to our luxury caravan(NOT) empty handed.While I was there I bought Travis some schmackos and a squeaky lion toy which Travis is devouring by the minute,he loves the toy and it is now his so I am not allowed to place a hand on it anymore.I went with the Whales and my Dad who likes photography and took a lot of pictures he took pictures of most of the animals above except the Kangaroos because we already have heaps of roo photos.I will put the pictures up tomorrow.If you want to see more of my dad's photography visit http://gormaymax.redbubble.com/.

Thunderstorms!

Hey Everyone
Yesterday it was very scary because there was a thunderstorm.
I am pretty much bombproof except when we have a thunderstorm.
I can withstand fireworks and everything else that is loud!
I used to be alright until 2007.We were all around that T.V thing watching the Australian Open Tennis Grand Final when all of a sudden there was a huge thunderstorm with lightning as well.
There were huge cracks of lightning and massively loud claps of thunder it was so scary.
We had to turn the T.V off and all other electrical appliances off because we thought they might catch on fire!
Well yesterday we had another storm which wasn't that big but big enough to have me shaking under the table where the rest of my family were having a leisurely game of scrabble.
My human brother put his foot on my side and said that it felt like one of those cool massage chairs that shake.
Then they all started talking so I started to sing,when I sing it sounds like a series of high/low pitches that hang in there a couple of seconds after I have sung them.
Yesterday was very scary but today is picture perfect,it is very sunny and warm outside.
I was wondering what is everyone scared of because I was wondering if I was the only one who hated thunderstorms!!!!!

Hey Everyone,

You have no idea how hard it is to get a post in on this blog! Travis is forever posting awards and competitions and they're just doesn't seem to be a day free for me to write anything, what with Supa Saturday, Where In The World Tuesday and Question of the week Wednesday. It's a tough job, but here I am.
I'd just like to wish everyone a very happy Easter from me and I hope all you doggies don't eat any human chocolate - best to stick to the dog variety.

Back From Camp

Yup, I got back on Friday but I haven't had time to write anything up on Travis: A Dog Like No Other because I was so tired after three days of canoing, hiking, rafting and abseiling. I missed Travis a lot and all our other animals for that matter. I just couldn't wait to get home so I could give Trav a hug and see my ratties, Nougat and Dougal. I even missed the fish - Edward and of course, mum's cooking. Has anyone else noticed how disgusting camp food is?

Well I hope you're all keeping up with the huge amounts of awards that Travis is posting on the blog. Every post seems to be about a different one but that's cool.
I will be making it my mission to find a new layout for this blog because Travis is not a golden retriever and the background doesn't seem to suit the blog. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Everyone I have just received some very sad news. I have to visit the vet!!!
I am so scared!!!
The last time I visited the vet I tried to eat him,hehe.
I have a vet check-up once a year and they are really frightening because they put you on scales and weigh you and put weird stuff on you.
They are just horrible!!!
But maybe this is just my view,what do you guys think of the vet,give it a rating out of ten.

I am a very normal teenage girl: I go to school, have a part time job, love animals, like spending time with my family and friends, love to write and read, I am obsessed with a fictional character, would rather spend the day eating chocolate than healthy vegies and stuff and I am also a big fan of The Simpsons and Twilight.

I have a brother and a sister, a dog who you already know a lot about, I have two pet rats, three fish, a good sense of humor and a tendency to say stupid things.
I like to laugh and smile and make someone giggle. I am a rubbish artist, hopeless jeweller and terrible cook but no-one can tell that I haven't had a go at things.
I am more of an indoor girl than a great outdoors adventurer. I love Travis and I am his feeder. Every day at five pm (sometimes before) he will run into my room, drag me away from the computer and wait for me to open the door for him. Then I give him his dinner and he will leave me alone for the rest of the night so I can write on my blogs and check my facebook, myspace and various other social sites.
I often PUSH doors that say PULL and end up making an idiot of myself in public but I can laugh and get over it.
I also tend to get lost in my own thoughts a lot and find myself running with vampires or chasing werewolves when I really should be concentrating on maths homework. That's another thing about me, I hate it when people say Math. I always like to put an S on the end because that's the way I am.

I am looking forward to co-writing this blog with Travis (whose views and opinions are written down by my brother because, obviously, Travis is very intelligent but just can't type!)

Hi guys
At the moment in Australia it is time for Round 1 of the 2009 AFL Premiership Season.
The first match will be between Chris Judd's Carlton and Ben Cousins's Richmond.
AFL is very different to NFL but is very fun to watch.
My humans and I are always watching it on the TV!!!
The team I support is the Fremantle Dockers but my sis goes for the Western Bulldogs!!!
Has anyone who doesn't live or been to Aus heard about or seen AFL???

Misunderstanding

Hey Everyone
How are you all???
There has been a slight misunderstanding in the last post about the visitors.
Two friends commented on my blog and were amazed because they had never heard of Wales and thought they were them big things that live in the ocean called Whales.
My family are not Whales but welsh humans who come from Wales.
Wales is a small (But Very Busy Country) in the UK,it is bordered by England and the capital is Cardiff.
Thank you to all the people who left a nice little comment and wished me a good Sunday!!!
And Thank You to Khyra and The Bumpass Hounds for leaving those extremely silly comments on thinking that all of my family are Whales,I have got to say I have not laughed like that in ages.

They are very nice and they liked playing with me!
At first I was a bit unsettled about them but then I settled and they stroked me!

Doggie Book club!!!

I have been thinking and I came up with an idea,Maybe I could start the first ever doggie book club.
Every week we could review a Book or movie if you want and everyone who has it if they want can write up a review in about 25-50 words and what they thought of it.
The winning review will get an award and a post all about them and their review.
The club will be held every Sunday Or Monday and you must be a follower if you want a shot!!!

The first book will be Marley and Me and entries can start now.
It would be great if we could make the first ever doggie book/movie club!!!

Baby Pics!!!

I was searching through every compter file I could find looking for pictures of Mwa when I came across some baby pics,And I started wondering,even though I will be mega embarrassed it would be good to post these on the blog,so I did.
They are pretty cute pics (if i must say so myself) and I would just love it if you would leave a comment on my blog to tell me what you think!!!
Also I have just started up a guest list and a blogroll,If you follow me I will put you on my guest list right away and It would be great if all my friends could sign my guestbook!!!

The Experiment

Today the humans were having a cooked breakfast and I was doing my rounds when my daddie offered me his fingers to lick but as they were covered in lemon juice and smelled so bitter my eyes were watering, I declined!!!
Then my human brother offered me his fingers that had his baked bean juice on and liking the smell i licked them eagerly!!!
My daddie tried the lemon fingers again I didn't lick,My bro tried the bean fingers and I licked.
My humans all burst out laughing and were laughing because the had finally found something the Iron Eater would not eat,I was extrmely confused!!!
But then I got really happy because daddie gave me some sausage and my bro gave me some Muffin!!!

Two weeks ago my ritual was broken when my humans threw my old comfy trampoline bed out(probably because it had a hole in it) and got me a new green and white stripey trampoline bed!!!
At first I was hesitant with the new bed and thought it was a big green and white monster that would gobble me up as soon as I lay down on Is so at first i only sat on it and did not sleep on it.
The next day I went out the garden and conquered my fears and lay down on the big monster and found it surprisingly comfy and know I love my new bed.
I also have a bed that is in my humans bedroom and is the best thing since sliced kibble!
It is big and green and called "My Mojo" it is very comfy and I have molded a nice big body shape and lie in my Mojo every night dreaming of Bones and Other delicious things!
My humans move my Mojo into the living room every night and I sit there for hours watching a big flashing box that they call the T.V but the buttons on the TV are stuffed and the new remote they bought for it (it's glow in the dark you know) is also stuffed and it doesn't work. (Its my fault you know because I was the one who ate the remote that worked,Oops!!!)
Well after lots of fiddling with my paws I have finally attached a picture of my Mojo and have put it on this post!!!

My accomplishment list is short but very memorable.My first accomplishment was failing puppy school.
Even though I failed everyone was very proud of me because it improved me and I would listen a bit more on a walk.
I failed because I used to chase other dogs and be very naughty and not listen.
I never even got round the final circuit on the last week and I never got to get professionally groomed in the grooming station because they took me off the circuit halfway through.
My second and greatest accomplishment is the 2006 City Farmers Pet Fashion Week Parade.
I dresses up in cool sunglasses,a rocking jacket and a really cool Hat!!!
My humans sent it in as a joke and were absolutely stunned when they got a phone call saying that I had made the final 50!!!
When I got to the Willeton store dressed in my gangsta clothes I was stunned at what my competition was like, there was a boxer dressed as a.......Boxer a bulldog dressed as a bumblebee and a Samoyed in a CLOWN suit!
I thought each dog looked grrrrreat and when it finally got to my turn to parade my stuff on the catwalk (or dogwalk as it should be called) I was a fur ball of nerves!!!
It went pretty smoothly and i thought i had a BIG chance of winning!!!
But was extremely disappointed when I found out that I hadn't even placed!!!
The bronze award went to a dog who was dressed as a military officer and had cool cameo clothes on and looked grrrreat.
2nd place went to the bulldog in the bumblebee suit and 1st place was a pug decked out in black and white checkered city farmers gear and a neat beret!
At the end each dog got a prize pack that included a little city farmers stuffed toy man for us to all play with, A smacko chew bone and a small collectible Nova (the sponsors) radio station tag that said "I was a city farmers pet parade finalist" and I still where it on my collar today!

Well that's practically my accomplishment list but as I said earlier short,but definitely memorable!!!

Meet Travis!

Travis is a ridge back X German Shepherd X A million other breeds but even I'm not sure what those breeds are!
Travis is 4 years old and is the best dog ever!
He will eat anything you give him but is very scared of thunderstorms.
When Trav was just a pup he practically ate our house.
He ate our T.V remote,Our Washing Machine and drill cables,Newspapers and just recently he invaded my sisters room for the umpteenth time and ate her Paw Paw Oil and searched her school bag which resulted in an angry sister.
Even though he eats everything we still love him to bits and we have some really memorable moments.
Travis is very disobedient on walks and pulls and growls and anything that moves but would never hurt a thing but the dog owners with those little minuscule dogs don't think that and always have to pick up their darling little Fifi.
Travis once went to puppy school but failed miserably, but hey nobody's perfect now are they.
Trav treats life like a big adventure and if everyone treated the world like that it would be a better place!!!
